MADE ON THE MWC FARM
Want to shop the products made on our own farm? We produce much of what we make right here in Michigan at our on Farm production facility using a living wage supply chain.

What does LIVING WAGE SUPPLY CHAIN mean exactly? - the people who produce our products, whether working at the farm or our sustainable partners are all paid a fair living wage. From the farmers who feed our critters to the mill workers who spin the fiber, to the team who dyes from plants in house. Everyone enjoys ethical fair trade labor. FOR FLOCKS SAKE.
We offer a selection of yarns, handmade bags, and tools cut from American sourced hardwoods, right here on our little farm in Michigan.
Know Your Wool. Know it's name.
It doesn't get closer to the sheep than this! Never superwashed, our yarn is straight from the sheep with just gentle washing. Including both RAW undyed, and colors created from nature dyed by us on the farm. Spinning oils from the mill have been removed using plant based laundry soap. It's soft and bouncy and ready to sink your happy hands into! Woolen spun by a local family owned mill, every part of our yarn production process occurs within the MidWest providing you with a planet friendly fibershed product! Try our Huron DK, it celebrates diversity by inclduing the fiber of our entire family flock. This combines our Targhee, Cormo, Finns & Gotland, Leicester Long Wools and dear sweet Betty, who is a Romney/BFL. The gorgeous grey hues make a tweedy marled appearance with a soft hand that is great for next-to-skin wear.
