YARN FOR GOOD

sustainably crafted

Our yarn is fiber you can feel GOOOOD about. It is produced using a living wage supply chain from the farmers to the mill workers to the team on the Mitchell Family Farm.

We believe that a better world starts with better choices. Our heirloom yarns are crafted using exclusively US wool grown with love on family farms - so Ewe can feel good about every stitch that slips through your hands.

A stack of folded Mitchell Wool Co. fabric swatches in multiple colors, including purple, blue, teal, orange, and yellow, with one blue patterned swatch standing upright on the right.

For the right reasons, longterm.

I just wanted to say I received the blanket today and am BLOWN AWAY by its softness and quality! You all have GOT to start marketing the hell out of that blanket because it is incredible! I’m thinking about buying some more in the fall for my family members for Christmas. Thanks for making a great product!

“I booked a farm tour In August and I still smile when I think about It. To be able to connect with happy farm animals who are loved and see every step of yarn production on a Michigan farm was the highlight of my summer.
After touring the farm, my wife and I decided it was worth buying a few packs of pork from MWC. We’re a fan of the ethics they employ daily with all aspects of their company.
Beautiful high quality products! We ordered online, but picked up in person and we got a farm tour while there. We all enjoyed meeting all the animals and learning their names. Fiona didn't love me so much, but the pigs were a hoot! The owners are amazing, and take such great care in everything they do. I will definitely be a repeat customer.
Amazing business with a long list of sustainable practices and many happy sheep, pigs, cows, etc.
