- Sheep to skein - farm grown in the USA & Ireland
- knits up at 5.5 sts/inch using a size 6 needle
- 22 sts = 4"/10cm
- Crochet hook G 6.
- 3 ply woolen spun
- Black Label Lake Huron is dyed on the farm using natural plant matter
- Eriu Yarns are grown and produced in Ireland following values that align with our own

Our DK weight HURON yarn is 3 ply woolen spun In the Midwest at a 3rd generation family owned mill. This keeps our carbon footprint small and supports the American Wool effort. If dyed, it is created using only natural botanicals and is crafted by the hands of Cindy, Ann Marie and Bekah right here on the farm. Our yarn is NEVER superwashed. Care for it by handwashing like the heirloom it is.
