Sustainable Hand Balm

Made from the rendered lard of our heritage pork, jojoba oil, beeswax, arrowroot powder, and essential oils right here on the Mitchell family farm. This natural hand balm restores rough skin so well that each of our farm guys swear by it! Calluses are no match for the moisturizing properties of our rendered lard, beeswax & jojoba. 

It starts with the lifestyle of our happy silvopasture raised heritage pigs. They root out invasive vines and trees in the forest on our farm, lolling in the dappled sunshine from the trees overhead and frolicking in their wallow with our ducks and geese. 🪿 it’s a beautiful way for a piggo to spend their days and when it’s time to harvest we utilize every part of their sustenance provided to us. 

We then render and filter the lard into a scent-free clean fat source that is perfect for protecting your skin. We combine this with nutrient dense jojoba & beeswax and sprinkle a bit of our favorite scents to spice things up a bit.

The Scents: 

• farmHER is The scent our founder, Sherry, has been wearing for a decade. It’s a bit spicy, little sassy, and very earthy. Think of a walk in the woods while sipping an old fashioned. The mossy undertones combine with the acrid spice of bourbon. 
  
• Granny Era is all of the charm of your Nan, save for the plastic furnitures covers and those oddly fuzzy butterscotches she hands you from the depths of her handbag to shush you up. It’s distinctly floral, combining rosehip oil and geranium.
• Tomato 🍅 Vine smells exactly like standing in the garden. A little damp soil under your toes, warm sun on your shoulders where your hat doesn’t cover and a sweating glass of iced sun tea. Tomato worms and weeding not included. It’s gardening without the fuss.

Two sizes - 2oz for your project bag & 4oz for your night stand - both come in a metal tin with a screw on lid to keep spills at bay. This is a semi-solid balm that goes on slick with the warmth of your hands and melts into your skin quickly.
