Every year, Jessica tries to top this sample with the next “it” accessory… and every year, she somehow comes back to the same conclusion: you just can’t beat this scarf!

If you’ve met Jessica at a show, there’s a good chance you’ve heard her enthusiastic praise for this design worked in farm yarn. And for good reason! The combination of texture, color, and our plump woolen-spun yarn makes this one seriously special.

Each season, the scarf gets lovingly stuffed into an IKEA bag after the show, only to emerge months later looking fresher than a spring daisy.  That’s the magic of a great design—and really good wool.

If you haven’t knit your own Chiaroscuro yet, consider this your sign.  Because it's a scarf it's flexible in materials needed.  We chose to knit this sample in two skeins of our DK.
